Full Description
Road bridge, built in 1630-5 as the first bridge over the River Lossie, and it was remodelled in 1789. It is a single-span arched bridge, constructed from rubble, with a dressed stone arch-ring and cope. The foundations and side walls are original, while the arch has been remodelled. Bears inscription: 'Elginum Condidit. Ibi Concordia Fiat. Foundit 1630. Finishit 1635'. Also 'Rebuilt by the county, 1789 in four months'. It is also known as the Bow Brig.

Built in 1630-35 and remodelled in 1789. Listed designation given on 20/08/1981.
