Full Description

Shipwreck, exposed on the foreshore at Balmedie Beach. The wreck of the schooner MARY OF BANFF is exposed on the foreshore at Balmedie Beach (and within the area of the country park). The schooner, which was carrying a cargo of coal, was wrecked 1.5 miles South of Belhelvie on the 15th December 1900.
