Full Description
Beehive shaped dovecot, probably from the 16th century, and with restoration work carried out in 1999. It is a small beehive dovecot of the usual three stages, constructed from harled rubble, with two thin stone slab rat ledges, and a circular stone cope to the entrance at the apex. There is a chamfered doorway to the West, and flight holes above the first rat-ledge. It contains 482 stone nesting boxes in ever decreasing rows creating a bottle shaped interior.
