Full Description

Dovecot which has unique construction. Made of rounded boulders bonded with clay and straw. Piended Oran slate roof. This forms the upper half of the building, the flooring of which no longer survives. Access to loft from upper door. There are 32 nesting boxes of slate and wood. Probably built circa 1825. It is incorporated within the walled garden to the south of Urquhart Manse (NJ26SE0167).
