Summary
A metal detecting survey was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in April 2025 ahead of a new house within the site of the Battle of Alford (MAB52660). Three artefacts were recovered: a George III farthing, a copper alloy button, and a lead-rich copper alloy fitting.
