Full Description
The Turing slab is category A listed, and is a medieval (15th century) stone with two incised figures in armour. It is well-preserved but broken in the middle.
This probably lay in the Turing Aisle of the medieval church (MAB58471) and which was removed from the graveyard in the 1970s and re-erected against the west wall of the present (1794) church (MAB27243).
The stone was subsequently removed in April 2026 to Aberdeenshire Museum Service following the sale of the church to private owners in 2024.
