Full Description
A market cross of unknown date, though probably Medieval. It stands on a 3-stepped plinth and is constructed from a plain chamfered octagonal shaft. It is capped by a later weather vane in the shape of a cross. It is surrounded by a walled enclosure that is within the graveyard on the site of the early medieval Kineddar Church (NJ26NW0026). No trace of the church remains.
