Full Description
Alleged Dun or camp, the Fairy Knowe is a natural knoll with no trace of antiquity. Field survey of the site was done in 2011 as part of the proposed programme of works associated with the extension to Rothes Wind Farm. Fairy Knowe was recorded as a pronounced natural knoll in the surrounding landscape and no evidence of any significant archaeological features were observed.
