Full Description

A circular mark is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1977 and 1989. It possibly surrounds a low mound. This mark may be agricultural in origin. Geophysical survey of the area in 2012 by Headland Archaeology provided only minimal evidence to support an archaeological origin. Some possible fragmentary ditch-like features were recorded but the linear anomaly seen at this location was considered to be geological.
