Full Description

Site of a cairn removed a few years before 1836, when a cist was found containing a beaker similar to those found in cists to the north (NO77SE0011). The cairn was circa 11m in diameter surrounded by a ditch. A cropmark is visible at the site which indicates a central area enclosed by a ditch, 5m wide, and what may be an outer bank, 5m wide, although this is not discernible on the south side. This cairn was possibly a Wessex-type bell, disc or saucer cairn. No evidence above ground.
