Full Description
An enclosure which is a possible Class I henge discovered by CUCAP in 1960 and photographed subsequently in 1976, 1978 and 1989 by the RCAHMS and in 2001 by AAS. The cropmarks reveal a circular enclosure situated immediately north of the public road. It measures about 23m in diameter with a ditch 3.5m broad, and there is a narrow entrance on the south-east. Within the henge there is an arc of pits to the north and a central pit.
