Full Description
Remains of clearance cairns and stone spreads, recorded during a walkover survey by Highland Archaeology Services in November 2021 (NJ25SE0065). The strip of ground, roughly measuring 10 m by 15 m, included a rubble spread and small cairns located along the eastern extent of a field on the southern end of Stony Hill. These clearance remains may relate to a post-medieval farmstead and enclosure (NJ25SE0029) located to the east and south.
