Full Description
Cropmarks of a pit alignment recorded by the RCAHMS during aerial reconnaisance in 1981 and subsequently in 1994 and 1995. It is an irregular alignment of large pits running in a north-northeast to south-southwest direction, curving towards the south, it is located 140 m west-southwest of Balcathie farmsteading and is visible from circa NO 6068 3952 to circa NO 6060 3944, a distance of about 105 m. A second pit-alignment (NO63NW0009) is recorded 60 m to the east.
