Full Description

Six boundary stones depicted on the historic OS maps along a line which probably marks the boundary between two estates, as they are not on a parish boundary. On the current edition OS maps five of the six stones are shown, located at NJ2807 5323, NJ2771 5333, NJ2743 5342, NJ2731 5345 and NJ2714 5347, with the previous western most stone no longer shown at NJ 27036 53532. Site visit during a walkover survey by Highland Archaeology Services in November 2021 (NJ25SE0065) noted that the westernmost boundary stone was not visible.
