Full Description
Cropmarks of a promontory fort recorded in 1981 (and subsequently) by the RCAHMS during aerial reconnaissance. The cropmarks show the ditch of an earthwork cutting off a precipitous promontory 600m north-northesat of Auchrannie steading. The ditch is about 2.5m broad and the area that it defines measures 75m by at least 60m.
