Full Description
Cropmark of a ring ditch.Test-pitting was carried out in this field in 2004 as part of a programme of investigation in the area (NJ81NW0198) for the Kintore Landscape Project. The work recovered 12 flint and one quartz artefacts and two pieces of slag. These finds appear to be part of a background level of Neolithic and Bronze Age activity.
