Full Description
Cropmarks. Faint trace of a possible ring ditch and other indeterminate cropmarks visible on a vertical aerial photograph. In 2001 a watching brief was undertaken in advance of the installation of a water pipeline. The pipeline corridor had been cleared and the trench excavated prior to the arrival of the archaeologist. A visual inspection of the area stripped of topsoil failed to reveal any trace of the cropmarks.
