Full Description
Various crop marks are visible on a vertical aerial photograph. There are several solid, dark, circular crop marks that may indicate timber hut stances, as well as a number of pits scattered across the area. There is also one larger, dark solid circular shape though what this might represent is unknown. With a possible square barrow also visible this site could indicate an unenclosed settlement of late prehistoric date/early medieval date. The south west area is overlain with later medieval cultivation ploughing of rig and furrow. There are also a number of other indeterminate features visible.
