Full Description
Cropmarks of two possible square enclosures (possibly barrows) with possible pits sightly to the north. A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by CFA Archaeology in November 2018 on a pipeline corridor across the site. Eight trenches were excavated, and two features recorded. In Trench 16 was a sub-circular pit (1.45m by 1.2m and 0.15m deep) which contained a high proportion of stones but no finds. An oval pit (2.1m by 1.4m and 0.3m deep) in Trench 17 contained some charcoal but no finds.
