Full Description
Remains of hut circles, cropmarks of settlement. Two circular areas of black earth said to be visible in this field after ploughing, at NJ 4062 6288 and NJ 4065 6290. On a vertical aerial photograph taken in 1976 a number of dark circular crop marks are visible in the same area. To the west in the same field are other features showing as crop marks, including ring-ditches and a possible post-circle, as well as a number of pits. These crop marks probably represent an unenclosed settlement.
