Full Description
Large circular enclosure. A dark trace of wide ditch is showing with thin trace outside of a ditch and possible internal features. Geophysical survey by University of Glasgow in November 2013 detected the discontinuous arc of two ditches of the enclosure, and several possible pits. Rig and furrow, running east-west, was recorded up to the line of the inner ditch. Fieldwalking in March 2014 found the area within the enclosure to be almost sterile in terms of finds suggesting that it may have been used for stock management rather than settlement.
