Full Description
Site of St Ternan's chapel. The foundations were removed by the farmer in the 19th century. No traces of the chapel or burial ground were found by the Ordnance Survey when they visited the site in 1961 and an RCAHMS field team also found no trace during survey work in the early 1980s. Scottish Church Heritage Research found no evidence of the site when it was visited in 2011. See also NO99NW0218 for human bone possibly originating from the chapel site.
