Full Description
Short cist discovered during quarry operations. It contained fragmentary skeletal remains of a male between 20-30 years old, with the head to the east, lying on left side facing south. Within the cist were also the broken remains of a beaker, a perforated and decorated stone disc and seven flints. The cist was of an oval shape. Beaker is SN/Step 4/5 N2/N/NR. A radiocarbon date is given as BP 3769+/-32.

OxA sample no V-2172-14 gives date BP3769+/-32 and calibrated BC 2280-2130 and 2290-2040.
