Site of a farmstead depicted on historic OS maps. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as an L-shaped building with small rectangular enclosure in the court and a smaller building to the north-east. To the north-west is another small building, a mill with a pond and lade. The layout is unchanged on the 2nd edition map, but the pond is marked as having a dam. None of these features is shown on the 2005 map. Excavation of part of the site was carried out by CFA in 2014 ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. It uncovered a stone surface which probably relates to one of the buildings on the 1st edition map, but no evidence of the pond, sluice or dam were observed. A watching brief subsequently carried out in October 2015 during topsoil stripping over part of the farmstead recorded the remains of the eastern range of the farmstead.
