Full Description
Site of cairn which was destroyed to provide material for local dykes. A total of 500-700 cartloads were removed. Near its centre were found a layer of black unctuous earth, lying at natural ground level, and mixed with it was a quantity of broken urns, pieces of bone, and a number of flint arrowheads.
