Full Description
A watching brief was carried out over the excavation of a new section of footpath close to Dunnottar Castle in February 2008. The path was machine excavated to depths of 0.6-0.8cm. A small amount of topsoil was removed, but at no point was the level reduced to natural. No archaeological finds or features were evident.
