Full Description
Site of two short cists found near Stonehaven market cross (NO88NE0004) while the causeway was being relaid circa 1880. The following week similar finds were made 18.2 m (20 yards) away beside the local gasworks (NO88NE0042). 'Many such finds had previously been made on the triangle of sandy soil on which Old Stonehaven stands'.
