Full Description

Site of a cell. St Arnty's Cell or Kill was the name given to a building which use to stand at the north corner of the farm garden on a straight line between the church and the castle until the end of the 18th century. According to the New Statistical Account (1845) it was a religious building. No trace remained in 1842. St Arnty is probably a corruption of St Adamnan.
