Full Description
Site of chapel and a well. The OS Name Book (1866) recorded the outline of the foundations of a building which were said to have been a chapel. OS visit in 1967 found no trace of chapel buildings. The Chapel Well or Holy Well is a spring and at that time the well had a modern surround and had been used until fairly recently as the water supply to the adjacent Chapel Croft.
