Full Description
Site of flax mills depicted on historic OS maps. The OS 1st edition map then consisting of a small L-shaped building standing next to a mill lade leading from the Bervie Water to the north. By the 2nd edition three other large buildings had been added. These buildings appear to have been removed by the time of the 5th edition, which shows two buildings on the east side of the complex, annotated as Flock and Felt works.
