Full Description
Site of a 2-storey townhouse which was built 1596 and rebuilt in 1720, and which stood at the southeast end of the square. It comprised a hall and small council chamber on the upper floor, and on the lower floor a flesh and meat market with a small attached arched vault used to retain 'troublesome vagrants for a few hours', and a belfry.
