Full Description

Site of stone circle which stood 'in a field just below the wood which covers the top of the ridge' and which was destroyed in the mid 19th century. Writing in 1919, Ritchie recorded that all the stones 'have been gathered and thrown together into a heap, which has now more the appearance of a cairn than a circle. This .... has been further increased by the addition to the heap of quantities of stones gathered from the surrounding field during agricultural operations'.
