Full Description

Site of a field system which covered 10.5 acres. It consisted of 18 stone clearance heaps of varying dimensions, some of which were robbed, and also the remains of 11 stone banks which formed a system of rectilinear fields orientated north-south (long axis). There were five substantial and five insubstantial banks which tailed off at both ends. In addition there was a very substantial sinuous bank which may have been of a later date. There were also two hut circles, one 10m and other 5m in diameter, filling the angle between a north-south and an east-west bank. Destroyed by a housing development.
