Full Description
A desk based assessment and walkover survey was carried out by GUARD in 2017 prior to instalment of new electricity cable on a route between East Mondynes and the electricity sub-station close to Temple of Fiddes. No new sites were identified along the cable route or 100m buffer zone. A number of known sites were within the route - see NO77NE0006, NO77NE0030, NO77NE0039. A subsequent watching brief and limited metal detecting survey were carried out also in 2017 during groundbreaking works. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded.
