Full Description
Carron Station opened by Strathspey Railway in 1863, as part of the 'Speyside' line. It is a standard 2-platform through type station. The up-platform building is of the normal rectangular plan, rubble type. The small wooden signal box has survived. Closed to passenger traffic in 1965.
