Full Description
A rectangular lectern lean-to type dovecot. It is constructed from harl pointed rubble, with tooled granite dressings. There is a centre door in the South front with chamfered margins. A single rat course encircles the building, and an upper course across the return gables and rear. There is a single diamond vent in each gable, and a single later piended dormer with the flight holes missing. It has crowsteps and a local slate roof. The interior is in two stages with approximately 400 nesting boxes. It stands near Knockando House, and is probably of the same period as the house, 1732, but bears no date to prove this.

Probably built around the same time as Knockando House, 1732, although there is nothing to prove this. Designated on 26/01/1971.
