Full Description

Site of a ring-cairn which consisted of a circle built of rough stones in the form of an inverted saucer with its centre hollowed. The outside was built in the form of a retaining wall with clay and stones. In the centre circa 25cm below the surface some urns, ashes and fragments of bones were found in the mid 19th century. The hillock has since been ploughed over. Only three small boulders at the side of the field, may have come from this site otherwise there is no trace of any structure.
