Full Description

A walkover survey on 3 June 2021 was carried out by Robert Lenfert Archaeology on an area of proposed coastal path restoration. No archaeological features were identified. This was followed by a watching brief carried out by Robert Lenfert Archaeology on 26 June and 1 July 2021 on land to the east and south of Seagreens Cottage, during a programme of coastal footpath restoration. This included soil stripping and groundworks for a temporary site office and the formation of a circa 2 m wide track for a new footpath running south from the point for approximately 170 m towards Milton Haven. No archaeological finds or features were discovered.
