Full Description

A watching brief was carried out between November 2016 and January 2017 by CFA Archaeology during groundworks prior to the construction of two wind turbines and associated infrastructure. A fire-pit containing burnt material and some spreads of demolition debris, probably relating to the site of Blinkbonnie farmstead (NO76NE0047), was recorded. A glass bead and two prehistoric flints were also recovered from the topsoil.
