Full Description

An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Scotia Archaeology on 16th October 2007 at 7 Hill Place, Montrose prior to the construction of new housing. Houses and stables attached to a bakery stood on part the site in the 19th century. It eventually became a builder's yard but has lain derelict for a number of years. No artefacts or features predating the 19th century were recorded.
