Full Description
Site of Gasworks. The Gasworks are shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps but have been removed by the 2005 map. The 2nd edition map shows that the gasworks had its own rail spur. There were at least two gasometers. Two buildings to the east of the site may incorporate remains of the gasworks.
