Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by GUARD Archaeology in December 2020 to January 2021 during groundworks for water main replacement. Rig and furrow, of possible medieval or post-medieval date comprising eight linear features (plough furrows) aligned north-south and circa 7m apart were recorded centred circa NO 66341 66257. No other archaeological features or artefacts were observed.
