Full Description

An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Murray Archaeology Services Ltd in 2007 prior to development on an area of land circa 11.53 hectares in size at Tarland Road, Aboyne. No archaeological features were recorded, although a number of pottery sherds were recovered dating from the 18th-20th century. A number of features relating to an improved landscape were also recorded.
