Full Description

Site of well and tree. The Skevlan Tree and Well were said to be dedicated to St Adamnan (a corruption of St Eunan), to whom the parish church was dedicated. The well was drained in 1865, and the gigantic ash tree remained only as a badly decayed trunk. OS site visit 1972 found no trace of tree or well.
