Full Description
Site of a cist, said to have contained human remains and to have been found beneath a cairn of stones several feet high, circa 1823. Jervise, in 1882, does not mention the cairn and states that there were no human remains. He describes the cist as being circa 1.22m long, composed of slabs 'at the top, sides and ends', but makes no mention of paving. No trace of any feature was observed by the OS in 1972.
