Full Description
Alleged site of a souterrain, discovered about 1855 but closed up again according to Warden. Wainwright had the spot pointed out to him on two occasions, beside a wall to the west of the House (NO 537386) and called its existence 'a faint but persistent local tradition'. He noted that there were no visible indications, and discovered that nothing was known of it in the Panmure Estate Office in the mid-20th century. This feature may show up at some point during aerial reconnaissance in the future.
