Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by Alder Archaeology in March 2018 during topsoil stripping for an agricultural building. The only features encountered were modern field drains and pipe trenches. The packing fill around a modern field drain contained a quartz lithic point of likely prehistoric date, probably brought in from elsewhere.
