Full Description
Geophysical survey and trial trenching was carried out by SUAT in April-May 2008 ahead of the laying of a new electricity cable in part within a temporary Roman camp (NO45SE0011) and across a pit alignment (NO45SE0077). Six trenches were focused on areas of possible anomalies identified by Ground Penetrating Radar and Magnetic surveys carried out along the route. No features or artefacts of archaeological significance were recorded.
