Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation carried out by Cameron Archaeology in 2014 ahead of proposed construction of a new campus on the present playing fields. Four trenches excavated revealed that the terracing for the existing school had involved stripping topsoil and landscaping across the entire site including raising the level of the ground for the playing fields north of the school. The site is very wet and given the disturbance no archaeological features were encountered.
