Full Description
Site of souterrains (including Wainwright's Tealing IV). Noted as a souterrain by the OS in 1923, only a curved depression near the top of, but not quite on top of, a low gently rounded knoll was noted as surviving by Wainwright, who states it was a good site for one.. Also according to Wainwright (in undated information sent to the OS which is not published in his 'Souterrains of Southern Pictland' in 1951, at least two similar sites were visible in the same field. In 1975, when revisited by the OS, there were no traces of souterrains or significant hollows in this field and local enquiries proved negative.
